Sisters, Niambi and Ayanna Rowland, started singing in church at an early age in Springfield, Illinois, but decided to take their career to the next level while in college. They recorded their first song in their friendâs college dorm room. âWe wrote the song together and when we heard the finished product, we knew that this is what we wanted to do,â exclaimed Niambi.
They called their group AZ One because their voices blend together and harmonize as one. Since college, they have kept the momentum going by continuing to write and record music. The sisters produced two albums and have done numerous shows and appearances throughout the United States. Niambi and Ayanna were the only women selected by Billboard Magazine and Discmakers as one of the top 6 artists in the Midwest and they also performed on TV on the 106 & Park Top 10 Live Countdown show on Black Entertainment Television (BET).
Being able to star in a SafeAuto commercial would be a dream come true for Niambi and Ayanna. âWe have been publishing so hard for 10 years now and being the voice of a major brand would help our music careers tremendously,â says Ayanna. âWe both work full-time job and fund our music through our own paychecks, so the $5,000 will also help us continue to do what we love.â
The sisters believe that their jingle stands out because it is very soulful, catchy, fun, and energetic, which shows their personality.
